King of the Stable
Written by Melody Carlson; published by Crossway Books, 1998: is the story of a young wealthy boy who becomes displaced from his home and is sent to stay with his uncle, an inn keeper in the city of Bethlehem. During his stay, he meets Mary and Joseph and is a witness to the birth of the Christ child. In 1999, King of the Stable was awarded the Gold Medallion from the Evangelical Christians Publishers Association.
